First Aid Training for Dental Practices
‘A patient could collapse on any premises at any time, whether they have received treatment or not. It is therefore essential that ALL registrants are trained in dealing with medical emergencies, including resuscitation, and possess up to date evidence of capability’.

In accordance with GDC requirements we specialise in the following courses for the entire Dental Team:
Annual Update Training – (3-4 CPD Hours)
This refresher training package can be tailored to suit your needs, however, it usually includes dealing with collapse, airway management, CPR, choking; oxygen therapy; airway adjuncts; portable suction; auto-injector units (Epipen /Anapen); contents of the emergency drugs box combined with common medical emergencies.
Cost of course at your venue – £350 for up to 12 people
Safe Use of the AED (3 CPD hours)
The Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines also recommend that all clinical areas should have immediate access to an automated external defibrillator (AED)
The AED course can be delivered as a standalone course or added as a 1½ hour bolt on to the annual update training. Successful completion will gain the Level 2 award in Safe Use of the AED.
Following initial Level 2 AED training, AED refresher can be included with the Annual Update Training
